The "ARC-BOY A400" is a power supply device specifically developed for arc spraying, utilizing advanced inverter technology. It employs a technique where a metal wire is arced under reduced pressure by electric current, then atomized into fine particles using compressed air from a nozzle's annular slit, forming a dense coating on the surface of the substrate through high-speed spraying. This technology allows for spraying with almost all types of metal wires, including zinc, aluminum, alumag, copper alloys, and nickel alloys.
